Theatre Math

If you think about it, you can find a way to connect math with just about anything. Theatre for example: it's obviously used in the technical side. Expecially in design and construction.

Math is used in Set Design because when you are drafting a set you have to draw everything to scale and deal with angles and different aspects of geometry. Also, in Set Construction you have to use math because you have to measure out everything and follow the draft in full scale. Construction also deals with angles and different aspects of geometry.

And if you think about it, you can even relate math to acting. Well, in the sense that when you're on stage timing is very important. You need to be able to make your entrances and exits at the right times.
Theatre relates to math in a couple ways.

10 Minute Plays!

I am so excited! I got cast in the 10 Minute Plays at school. They are really cool. All of the plays are written by people in the playwriting class and directed by the seniors in the directing class. I start rehearsals soon and can't wait to find out what my play is about. :)

Why, hello there!

This is my very first post. I new at this whole blogging thing, so it'll probably take me a little while to get the hang of it. That's it for now. I'll be back when something interesting happens :)
